Gates of the Soul
Through the ages the garden has been the place for existential contemplation, in which the concept of paradise forms the source of many utopias. The garden is an oasis, where dream and longing get space. The garden activates our senses; Augustine so beautifully described them as “Gates of the Soul”. The garden forms an area of tension between matter and spirit, a place where we breathe along with the miracle called “life”, in which the flower, the plant and nature play an inspiring role.
In 1984 The Spiritual Garden arises.
